How to Remove Windows Optimization Center
Windows Optimization Center is fake computer optimizer program that will display messages and alerts of fake infections meant to look like actual problems. While running the user will continuously get alerts about their system being unsafe and the program will perform a fake scan of the computer with results that can only be fixed once the software is purchased. Other problems associated with Windows Optimization Center are changes in browser settings, system slowdowns due to program running in the background, and internet search redirects. Any messages and alerts produced by this program should be ignored and the user is recommended to remove this program at once.
Manual Removal First users will need to disable the process associated with Windows Optimization Center, to do this press Crtl+ Shift+ESC keys on the keyboard. Once pressed the windows task manager will open, look under the process tab for Windows Optimization Center processes click to highlight and then press the end process tab. By doing this it should disable the program from running allowing users to delete the files associated with the program from running. Next delete the following files associated with Windows Optimization Center:
